Truck Fire Sparked By Discarded Cigarette: State Fire Marshal
A pickup truck burned after a cigarette ignited cardboard in the bed of the vehicle, reports the Office of the State Fire Marshal.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — A 2008 Ford F-150 Supercrew Cab King Ranch pickup was burned Thursday shortly before 4:30 p.m. after a person found the truck bed on fire. The fire was reported by a passerby.
The truck was parked at 951 Redfield Rd. in Bel Air. According to the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company, it took five firefighters five minutes to put out the fire. The fire department has ruled the fire accidental due to a discarded cigarette igniting cardboard located in the bed of the truck.
