US 1 Closed For Crash Near Dublin: Harford Fire/EMS Officials
BREAKING: Avoid part of Conowingo Road Thursday afternoon, officials advise.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Due to a serious crash, officials said that US 1/Conowingo Road will be closed for an extended period of time Thursday in the Dublin area.
The collision occurred on US 1 near Sandy Hook Road, according to Rich Gardiner, spokesman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association. Route 1 was closed in the area of the crash as of 3:30 p.m., he said.
One person was trapped in the vehicle and had to be rescued, then was flown to a regional trauma center, Gardiner said.

The Darlington and Bel Air fire companies responded to the incident, and the State Highway Administration was en route as of 3:45 p.m., according to Gardiner.
He said that the road would be closed for an extended period.

People were advised to avoid the area of Route 1 at Sandy Hook Road.
