Warehouse Fire Draws Firefighters From Half A Dozen Crews

Firefighters from at least six departments and companies responded to a warehouse fire that broke out Saturday afternoon.

BELCAMP, MD — Numerous fire companies helped battle a warehouse fire Saturday afternoon.

The fire broke out at a building located in the 4600 block of Mercedes Drive. The Abingdon Fire Company sent firefighters to the scene after the call came in around 2:25 p.m. They were joined by the Aberdeen Fire and Rescue Department, Level Volunteer Fire Company, Susquehanna Hose Company, The Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company and Joppa Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company, officials reported.

Firefighters found smoke billowing out from the roof of the warehouse. The fire was quickly extinguished and no injuries were reported.
