BREAKING: Public schools in Harford County will be on "code green" on Wednesday, March 7.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Public schools in Harford County will be closed on Wednesday, March 7. School officials made the announcement Wednesday morning, citing current conditions.
While schools are closed for students in Harford County, employees in Harford County Public Schools will be on code green.
Code green means that all schools and offices are closed, and only those identified as essential personnel will report according to specific directions upon arrival. No second shift custodians are on duty.

All daycare and all evening activities are canceled in Harford County Public Schools.
Harford Community College is also closed on Wednesday, March 7. Classes, programs and events planned there are canceled due to weather.

Harford Day School will open two hours late on Monday, March 7.
Parts of Harford County are expected to get up to 7 inches of snow on Wednesday.
Other Closings/Delays
Harford County government offices will operate based on a normal schedule with liberal leave in effect. Critical employees should report as scheduled.
Havre de Grace City Hall is opening at 10 a.m.
Town of Bel Air employees are on liberal leave due to possibly icy roads. Government offices will open as scheduled.
