What's Open, Closed In Bel Air On Columbus Day 2017

See what's open, closed in Bel Air for Columbus Day.

BEL AIR, MD - Columbus Day is a federal holiday on Monday, Oct. 9. Observed on the second Monday of October, Columbus Day can be a bit confusing when it comes to knowing what's open and what's closed because despite its designation as a holiday, many still have to work.

In Harford County, for example, the county government will run as usual but some agencies like the courts and libraries will be closed. Offices in the town of Bel Air will be closed, and trash in the town of Bel Air that was to be collected on Monday, Oct. 9, will be picked up instead on Wednesday, Oct. 11.

To help navigate the holiday, Patch has put together a list of Columbus Day closings.
