Woman Hospitalized After Fall at Harford Community College: Officials

A woman was taken to a regional trauma center after a fall Monday morning at Harford Community College in Bel Air, officials said.

At 8:40 a.m., a student fell down the stairs inside the Student Center on campus, according to Harford Community College spokeswoman Nancy Dysard.

The 18-year-old sustained serious injuries as a result of the fall, according to the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.

The Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company responded and took the student to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, Dysard said.
