The robbery took place about 6:15 p.m. on Feb. 26 as the 58-year-old victim was walking his dog on Linden Avenue in the area of Pooks Hill Road. Two black males approached the victim, assaulted him, and stole his wallet and phone, police say.
The suspects then left the area in a black sedan. It is possible that a third suspect was the getaway driver and stayed in the vehicle during the robbery.

The victim was treated for multiple cuts and bruises by Fire&Rescue personnel at the scene of the robbery.
Investigators say the victim’s stolen credit cards were used in Largo and Greenbelt to purchase merchandise. Video surveillance from these stores captured three suspects.
