3 Bethesda Apple Store Thieves Caught On Camera: Police
Police have released security camera photos of three men suspected of taking nine iPhones from the Bethesda Apple Store.
BETHESDA, MD — Montgomery County Police have released security camera photos of three men they say helped themselves to nine iPhones from the Bethesda Apple store. While the theft happened Aug. 4, investigators released the images Friday and asked the public to help identify the suspected thieves.
Detectives say the three men entered the Apple Store at 4860 Bethesda Avenue shortly after the business opened at 9 a.m., briefly walked around the store and then stole nine iPhones from display cases. The suspects ran from the store and were last seen on foot near Bethesda Lane at Elm Street.
Anyone who has information about the suspects or the theft is asked to call police at 240-773-6710. Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest in this case.
