These six Montgomery County restaurants have some of the best wine selections in the world, according to a leading industry magazine.
BETHESDA, MD — Six Montgomery County restaurants made it on Wine Spectator's Restaurant Awards list. Published in July, the list highlights establishments around the world that offer the best wine selections.
The local winners are Seasons 52 and Del Frisco's Grille of North Bethesda; Morton's, The Steakhouse and Jaleo of Bethesda; The Capital Grille of Chevy Chase; and Ruth's Chris Steak House in Gaithersburg. Each restaurant earned Awards of Excellence, one of three honors restaurants can get.
"The Award of Excellence recognizes restaurants whose wine lists feature a well-chosen assortment of quality producers along with a thematic match to the menu in both price and style. Ranging in size from 90 selections to several hundred, these lists are well-focused and tend to emphasize discovery," Wine Spectator said in a statement.
