BETHESDA, MD — From family camping trips and early morning hikes, to all-inclusive brewery tours and late night concerts, there's no shortage of ways to celebrate the fall season in Montgomery County.

Rockwood Manor Retreats & Events
Looking for a vacation that isn't too far from home? Check out Rockwood Manor. Located at 11001 MacArthur Blvd. in Potomac, this secluded wooded retreat is less than 30 minutes from places like the National Institute of Health, Westfield Montgomery, and RIO Washingtonian Center.

RIO Washingtonian Center
RIO bills itself as Gaithersburg's premier shopping and dining destination. The 760,000-square-foot development is home to retailers including Target, Pier 1 Imports, AMC DINE-IN Theatres, Copper Canyon Grill, South Moon Under, Francesca's, and California Pizza Kitchen.

Little Bennett Campground
Fall: it's the perfect time for families to sit around a campfire, spend quality time, and eat way too many marshmallows. At Little Bennett Campground, you can do just that.

Located at 23705 Frederick Rd. in Clarksburg, Little Bennett Campground boasts more than 25 miles of trails, 91 wooded campsites, three cabins, and three yurts. It's the only campground site in Montgomery County.

The Arts Barn
Built in 1900 as a horse stable, the Arts Barn officially opened its doors as Gaithersburg's center for performing and visual arts in 2002. The 99-seat venue has been home to art galleries, artist-in-residence studios, camps and workshops, a performing arts theater, and more. It is located at 311 Kent Square Rd., right by the Kentlands Mansion.

The Adventure Park
An aerial forest adventure awaits! The Adventure Park at Sandy Spring is perfect for kids and adults looking for high-flying activities. When you arrive, you'll get a harness and equipment, as well as a safety briefing that explains how to climb and zip line in the park. There are 13 trails with varying levels of difficulty to choose from. "Bridges" between tree platforms made of rope, cable, and wood also provide more than 190 unique challenges.
