AMC Theatre's MacGuffins Bar To Open At Westfield Montgomery

BETHESDA, MD — MacGuffins Bar will soon be opening inside of AMC Theatres at Westfield Montgomery Mall, The MoCo Show reported Monday.

MacGuffins is AMC’s in-house bar that offers beer, wine, and mixed drinks to customers.

AMC Theatres took over the closed ArcLight Cinemas movie theater at Westfield Montgomery earlier this year. ArcLight closed its theaters at the mall in April 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The term ‘macguffin,’ coined by Alfred Hitchcock, refers to a plot device that propels a movie forward,” AMC Theatres says on its website. “Our specialty cocktails, craft beers and premium wines will be just the thing to turn this movie experience into a story worth remembering.”
