Bethesda Big Train Gearing Up for Baseball Holiday Auction

The Bethesda Baseball Holiday Auction will be held on Sunday, November 16 from 5-8 p.m. at the Double Tree in Bethesda

The Bethesda Big Train is heading back to the Double Tree Hotel in Bethesda for their annual baseball-themed fundraising auction. The Bethesda Baseball Holiday Auction - to be held on the evening of Sunday, November 16, 2014 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Bethesda, MD from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. - will benefit their joint mission to rebuild and improve the quality of youth ballfields in Montgomery County, MD and Washington, DC.

Since 1999, Big Train has been Bethesda’s summer collegiate baseball team and a popular summer destination for families looking for a fun and inexpensive night out. Big Train and BCC Baseball have now joined forces to dedicate financial support to maintaining and rebuilding youth baseball and softball fields in the area.

This elegant baseball-themed event is a must-attend for any baseball fan and will feature a buffet-style dinner provided by world class chefs from the Double Tree Hotel, and spectacular auction items for you to do your holiday shopping! The silent and live auction is highlighted by gift cards to the best restaurants in Bethesda, unique sports experiences with the Nationals, fabulous vacation getaways, and tickets and memorabilia from local sports teams and beyond. Speeches will also be a highlight of the event this year with special guests ESPN Baseball analysist Tim Kurkjian and University of Maryland Baseball Coach John Szefc. George Washington the Racing President will also be making an appearance!
