Bethesda Country Day School Donates $250 to Alex’s Lemonade Stand

Campers sold a variety of items, including lemonade, baked goods and bracelets to raise funds and awareness for children with cancer

Summer campers at Bethesda Country Day School in Bethesda recently collected nearly $250 to benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, a childhood cancer foundation dedicated to raising funds for research, supporting families and raising awareness to help cure childhood cancer. Throughout July, campers sold a variety of items, including lemonade and baked goods, as well as handmade bracelets, keychains and magnets to raise money for the organization. Through this initiative, campers learned the importance of helping children in need.
