Bethesda Country Day School Students Raise Over $240 for Charity
Students held a lemonade stand to raise funds and awareness for children with cancer

Students at Bethesda Country Day School recently raised more than $240 to benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, an organization that has funded more than 1,000 grants providing research, treatment and support for children and their families fighting cancer. During the week of Aug. 9, students held a lemonade stand at their school to raise money for the organization. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of spreading kindness and helping children in need.
