Bethesda Country Day School(R) Celebrates National Wear Purple for Peace Day and Hosts International Potluck
Students, teachers and staff wore purple clothing and formed a human peace sign on May 16 and celebrated the cultures of the world on May 19
On May 16, students, teachers and staff at Bethesda Country Day School in Bethesda celebrated National Wear Purple for Peace Day by wearing purple clothing and forming a human peace sign outside their school to promote a message of hope and peace on Earth. On May 19, Bethesda Country Day School hosted an international potluck dinner, where students and parents sampled cuisine from countries around the world. Students also performed a song in Spanish for parents. Students have been learning the importance of community and celebrating different cultures.
