Bethesda Country Day School(R) Principal Named Preschool Principal of the Year
Fernanda Landa, principal of Bethesda Country Day School in Bethesda, receives national recognition from Nobel Learning Communities, Inc.

Bethesda Country Day School in Bethesda, Md., announced today that Principal Fernanda Landa has been named Preschool Principal of the Year by its parent organization, Nobel Learning Communities, Inc. Landa received the honor at Nobel Learning Communities’ annual principal conference, which was held last month in Las Vegas.
“Receiving the Principal of the Year award is not only a very special honor for me, but for my staff as well,” said Landa. “My staff and I strive to provide a positive learning environment for our students and build strong relationships with our students’ parents every day. To me, this award means having our entire school recognized for our hard work.”
Landa began her career in education as a teacher’s assistant at Chesterbrook Academy preschool, also part of Nobel Learning Communities, in Germantown in 2006. She then served as principal of Chesterbrook Academy for seven years. In December 2013, Landa became principal of Bethesda Country Day School.

The Principal of the Year award is presented annually to the principal who stands out among Nobel Learning Communities’ schools across the country for inspiring and motivating both students and staff.

Bethesda Country Day School is located at 5615 Beech Avenue in Bethesda. The school offers preschool programs for beginners (ages 2-3 years) through kindergarten.
