Bethesda Man With Dementia Found Safe: Update
Police who searched for Angelo D'Alessandro, who suffers from dementia and speaks only Italian, say he was found Wednesday night.

BETHESDA, MD — An elderly Bethesda man, Angelo D’Alessandro, was located safe and unharmed about 9 p.m. Wednesday. Authorities had asked for help locating the missing man earlier in the day.

Angelo D’Alessandro, 82, was last seen by family members at approximately 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, when he left his Millwood Road home on foot, police said. D’Alessandro suffers from dementia and speaks only Italian. Police and family are concerned for D’Alessandro’s physical welfare.
D’Alessandro does not have a vehicle and does not use public transportation, his family says.

Police describe D’Alessandro as a white male, 5’ 6” tall and weighing approximately 170 pounds. He is bald with gray hair on the sides and wears glasses. He was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt with red stripes on the side and blue sweatpants, police said.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of D’Alessandro is asked to call 9-1-1 or the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000.
