Bethesda Martial Arts Academy Burglar Sought

Montgomery County Police have released video of a burglar who stole tablet computers from a Bethesda business; $10K reward is offered.

Bethesda, MD — A burglar who helped himself to tablet computers after a break-in at the GAMMA Martial Arts Academy in Bethesda last month is still being sought by police.

On Thursday, Montgomery County detectives released surveillance video of the suspect and asked the public to help identify the thief.

A burglary at the martial arts facility, 4833 Bethesda Ave., was reported shortly after noon May 5 by an employee who arrived to open the business. One of the front doors was forced open and the burglar took four Dell tablets.

A surveillance camera from a neighboring business captured the suspect leaving the GAMMA Martial Arts Academy’s back door about 10:19 p.m. the night before.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information about the burglary is asked to contact police at 240-773-6710.

Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest and/or indictment for this felony crime.
