Bethesda Votes 2014: Election Results

Bethesda and Chevy Chase voters went to the polls for more than the next governor and other statewide races. Local elections included Montgomery County Executive, County Council, and State’s Attorney.

Ike Leggett won the County Executive race against Jim Shalleck, 64 percent to 36 percent. County Council winners in contested races included Roger Berliner, Craig Rice and Nancy Navarro. The top candidates for the four council at-large seats were Marc Elrich, Nancy Floreen, George Leventhal and Hans Riemer.
