BETHESDA, MD — Here are some of the theater productions, live music performances and other weekend activities happening Oct. 21-23.
Friday, October 21:
- The Gaithersburg Community Museum will host its monthly after hours speaker series with author of Snallygaster Patrick Boyton.
- The Roundhouse Theater’s production of Angels in America.
- Gaithersburg Arts Barn presents, Wizard of Oz Junior.
- The Upper County Community Recreation Center hosts Harvest Fest Family Movie Night.
- Residents can take walk along Damascus Community Recreation Center’s Bates Trail of Nightmares.
- Take a walk through one of Montgomery County’s most popular Halloween attractions, Markhoff’s Haunted Forest. Field of Screams is also open tonight.

- Local law enforcement will participate in a Tip-a-Cop benefit at Red Robin in Germantown.
- Levine Music will host its opening concert featuring Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon.
- Enjoy a day of wine tastings, food vendors, and live music at Corktoberfest.
- Gaithersburg Arts on the Green presents Cruz Contreras.
- The Roundhouse Theater’s production of Angels in America.
- Tom Rush performs at BlackRock Center for the Arts.
- Carl’s Rare Roast Beef Band performs at Bethesda Blues & Jazz Supper Club.

- October is National Energy Action month and the Department of Environmental Protection will showcase energy saving tips at five different libraries across the county for its Energy Exploration event.
- The Music Center at Strathmore will host auditions for Moscow Ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker.
- BlackRock Center for the Arts will screen the film You Belong to Me at 4 p.m.
- Enjoy a day of wine tastings, food vendors, and live music atCorktoberfest.
- Spyro Gyra performs at the Bethesda Blues & Jazz.
