Sunday, August 7:

  • Take a guided tour of the Kingsley Schoolhouse located in the secluded ‘Froggy Hollow’ section of Little Bennett Regional Park. Open from 1 to 4 p.m.
  • AFI Silver Theatre features Warner Brothers Looney Tunes cartoons this month, presented on 35 mm prints on the big screen.
  • Arts on the Green and Wildwood Summer Theatre presents the musical Nine at Gaithersburg’s Arts Barn at 2 p.m.
  • Meet the artists whose work is on display in Rockville’s Glenview Mansion at a reception at 2 p.m. A concert by Harmonic Introductions will take place in the Conservatory.
  • The Hipocrites, a Chicago-based repertory company, present The Pirates of Penzance rotating with The Mikado at Olney Theatre. Today you may choose The Mikado at 1 p.m. or The Pirates of Penzance 4:45 p.m.
  • Bethesda Blues & Jazz Club present Secret Society at 7:30 p.m.
