Friday, April 8

- Olney Theatre presents Marjorie Prime at 7:45 p.m. This is the last weekend for this show.
- AMP by Strathmore presents An Evening with Molly Ringwald at 8 p.m. Tickets are $35 and still available.
- Enjoy visiting art studios during the monthly Art Walk from 6 to 9 p.m. The Waverly Street Gallery is hosting an opening reception for their Intimate Landscapes exhibit by artist Loriann Signori. The freeBethesda Circulator stops within a few blocks of each Bethesda Art Walk gallery.
- Who can resist a good mystery and sweet desserts? A Taste for Murder Productions combines both with the A Wedding to Die Forat Kentlands Mansion at 8 p.m. in Gaithersburg.
- It is opening night for the dark comedy Firebugs at Montgomery College’s Cultural Arts Center in Silver Spring at 8 p.m.
- Bobby Brooks Wilson will be performing at the Bethesda Blues and Jazz Supper Club at 8 p.m.

- Montgomery Parks will be celebrating the season opening of History in Parks at Oakley Cabin and Park with free dance workshop celebrating African Rhythms from noon to 4 p.m.
- The Puppet Co presents Beauty and the Beast at Glen Echo Park at 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
- Come out to Boyds to support the Washington Spirit as they host a preseason game at 7 p.m. Tickets may be purchased here.
- Grammy nominated vocalist and writer Syleena Johnson will be performing at Bethesda Blues and Jazz Supper Club at 7 p.m., doors open at 5 p.m.
- Join Friends of the Library Montgomery County at the Rockville Memorial Library for their second annual Library After Dark fundraiser. This year’s theme is The Magic of Libraries.
- AFI Silver Theater is showing the original King Kong film onight at 7:30 p.m.
- Olney Theatre presents Marjorie Prime at 1:45 and 7:45 p.m.
- Montgomery College’s Cultural Arts Center presents the dark comedy Firebugs at 8 p.m. in Silver Spring tonight.

- The final show of Marjorie Prime at Onley Theatre is today at 1:45 p.m.
- An African-style Cirque du Soleil, Cirque Zuma Zuma performs today at 2 and again at 6 p.m. at Montgomery College’s Cultural Art Center in Silver Spring.
- Dr. Lonnie Smith is performing at Bethesda Blues and Jazz Supper Club at 7:30 p.m.
- Pianist Orli Shaham performs at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Washington at 7:30 p.m.
