Bingo in the Park at the Glen Echo Park Spanish Ballroom Fri, Sept 8, 2017 from 7-10pm. Bingo and Silent Auction.

The Glen Echo Fire Department will be having their annual family-friendly fundraising Bingo and Silent Auction on Friday, Sept 8, starting at 7 pm at the Glen Echo Park Spanish Ballroom at 7300 MacArthur Boulevard, Glen Echo, MD.

All ages are welcome, and there will be prizes appropriate for all age groups, including certificates for local restaurants and stores, toys, and games. Free parking, no admission charge, but there is a suggested donation of $5 for bingo cards, and additional contributions are welcomed. There will be lots of prizes, some great silent auction items, a 50:50 raffle, and snacks (to be eaten in the lobby or outside – no food or drinks or even water are allowed in the ballroom to protect the historic floor).

The money raised will be for uniforms, equipment, supplies, and training materials for the Glen Echo Fire Department volunteer EMT's and firefighters so that they can better serve the community. Funds will also go for the purchase of a new ATV to be used for water and trail rescues.

The doors and silent auction will open at 7, with Bingo starting about 7:30 and running until about 9:30-9:45.
