Boy Survives Fall Out Eighth-Floor Window
A 4-year-old fell out of an apartment window in Silver Spring and suffered a broken arm, authorities say.
A 4-year-old boy who fell out an eighth-floor window is expected to survive with a broken arm his most serious injury, authorities say.
The accident happened Wednesday at White Oak Towers, 11700 Old Columbia Pike in Silver Spring.
Montgomery County rescue officials said the boy’s injuries were not believed to be life-threatening. He is being treated at an area hospital.

Montgomery County Police told WTOP the child broke his arm and has an eye injury, but he is expected to recover.
