Businesses Patch Readers Want To Open In Bethesda, Montgomery County

BETHESDA, MD — Is there a certain kind of business that is missing in Bethesda? A type of restaurant you can't find in Montgomery County? An activity that you have to travel miles away for? Or is there another specialty store you could use?
Patch recently asked our Facebook followers for all 11 sites in the county which businesses they want to see open in town. Food was a popular topic with suggestions for coffee shops, upscale foodie shops and other offerings, preferably locally owned businesses.
"Blue bottle coffee, more shopping boutiques, more upscale food shops such as wine and cheese shops, a toy store. Shop local type stores would be especially welcome," wrote reader Lisa Ranelli Alexander. "It's a great area and I'm happy to see Warby Parker arrive, but we have plenty of room to grow.
