Do you pronounce "Bethesda" correctly?
According to BuzzFeed, Bethesda is No. 21 in a list of the 21 cities in the country most likely to be mispronounced.
Bethesda is really pronounced buh-thez-duh, BuzzFeed reported.
No. 1 is Versailles (pronounced ver-say-ells), KY. No. 2 is Worchester (pronounced wuss-ster), MA, BuzzFeed reported.
But really, isn't buh-thez-duh how we all pronounce it anyway? And, as this journalist from Massachusetts notes, Worcester isn't pronounced wuss-ster.
Everyone knows it's pronounced wuss-tuh.
