Planning ahead means knowing your choices. This informative session explains the differences between hospice and palliative care, when each is appropriate, and how these services support both individuals and families. Representatives from Suburban Hospital and Montgomery & Prince George’s Hospice will offer brief, practical overviews of services, including pain and symptom management, emotional and spiritual support, care settings, insurance coverage, and how to begin the conversation with loved ones and physicians. A moderated panel discussion and audience Q&A will follow, offering the opportunity for candid questions and clear, compassionate guidance. This program is generously supported by the Frederick H. Bowis Community Fund.
