Wildlife Detectives: Digging for Clues

For preschoolers and elementary-age children and their caregivers
Grab your magnifying glass and get ready to dig up some wild secrets! We’ll follow the clues—tracks, feathers, bones, and more— to uncover animals that live nearby and our live animal ambassadors. Meet the live animal friends up close, then explore our table of furs, bones, and mystery artifacts to keep the investigation going!
This program is part of the Unearth a Story 2026 Summer Reading Challenge.

The Chevy Chase Library elevator is currently out of service and undergoing modernization replacement. This program will be held in the downstairs meeting room, and will only be accessible by the stairs.
