Event Details
This Fall season, learn how to draw and illustrate using basic mediums such as graphite pencils and charcoal sticks and ink pens. The Drawing course is taught by renowned artist, Vian Borchert, at The Yellow Barn Studio at Glen Echo Park.
The course will be onsite and in-person in the Studio starting from September 25 till November 6. The class is on Friday mornings from 9:30AM till 12PM at the Yellow Barn Studio located in Glen Echo, Maryland.

In this course, students explore drawing mediums like graphite pencils, charcoal, and pen & ink. Demos of line marks, shape, shading, texture, highlights, and shadow are presented. Studies in still life and landscape are covered.
About Art Educator, Vian Borchert:
Borchert is an acclaimed artist who has been teaching art classes in the DMV area for over 2 decades. She is a notable alumni from Corcoran College of Art & Design George Washington University.
