Car Crashes Through Front of Restaurant: Reports

No one was inside the eatery at the time; driver sustained minor injuries, say reports.

BETHESDA, MD — A car crashed through the front of a restaurant Thursday night, according to media reports.

The accident occurred at Teppanyaki Grill & Supreme Buffet, at 5500 Randolph Road, according to WUSA-TV Channel 9. The Montgomery County police told Channel 9 that the North Bethesda restaurant was closed, so nobody was inside at the time of the accident.

The driver of the car sustained minor injuries, Channel 9 reported.

The hibachi restaurant's front window was shattered in the accident, according to WJLA-TV Channel 7, and it's unclear when it will reopen.
