Caught On Video: 3 Suspects Rob Bethesda Jewelry Store
Montgomery County police say three men stole more than $60,000 worth of jewelry from a Bethesda jewelry store on Friday.

BETHESDA, MD — A trio of thieves, at least one armed with a gun, stole more than $60,000 worth of jewelry from a Bethesda jewelry store on Friday, according to authorities. Montgomery County police have released surveillance footage of the armed robbery in hopes that the public can help identify the suspects.
At approximately 5:46 p.m., three men walked into The Jewelry Exchange located at 7747 Old Georgetown Rd., officials said. One of the suspects brandished a handgun while the other two demanded jewelry.
Newly released surveillance footage appears to show the three men, bundled up in winter coats and gloves, approach the unsuspecting employees, who were standing behind a glass counter. Two suspects stuffed boxes of jewelry into bags while a third suspect acted as a lookout.

Police say the thieves stole approximately 100 pieces of jewelry.
Detectives ask anyone with information about the suspects or this robbery to call the police's Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5100. Tipsters can also call the county's Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to the arrest or indictment of these suspects. Callers will remain anonymous.
