CCACC Reflections on 2019

A Glance at CCACC's 2019 Accomplishments and Hopes for the Coming Year

As the year is coming to an end, we here at the Chinese Culture and Community Service Center, Inc. (CCACC) are taking a step back to reflect on our growth over the past year.

In 2019, CCACC served approximately 110,000 members of the community, from children as young as 5 years old, to seniors over 100 years old. Our services included:

  • Medical services for all, regardless of insurance
  • Stop B Program
  • Mental Health 360
  • Benefit Enrollment Program
  • No Pain Initiative
  • Health Fair
  • Asian Career Fair
  • Blood Drives in conjunction with the American Red Cross
  • After-School Enrichment for K-5
  • Chinese and English language and culture classes for both children and adults
  • Adult day health care
  • Home care services
  • 8 exhibits featuring a total of 325 pieces of both Eastern and Western art
  • Organization of Lunar New Year celebrations and performances at local malls
  • 40 community performances to promote Chinese culture

There’s something here for everyone, as the center partnered up with 4 new clubs this year, making CCACC home to 29 different clubs for community enrichment. 1,600 activities were held in-house at our very own headquarters, attracting over 22,000 facility users.

The year of 2019 also marked growth at CCACC, as we not only expanded our services to serve more members of the community, but also worked to hone down on the quality of our services in order to give our community the best we had to offer. In 2019, we:

  • Served over 1800 in preventive care services,
  • Improved the quality of our food and transportation services,
  • Expanded our educational programs by 39%, and
  • 99.8% of home care customers stayed with us due to service quality and efficiency.

All this was made possible thanks to our 117 staff members, 270 volunteers, as well as over 20 community partnerships. There is still so much to be done, but with your help, we can do better. Therefore, we kindly ask that you remember CCACC this holiday season and donate through PayPal, by check, or in-person to help us reach more people in need of our programs and services.
