Celebrity Chef Alex Garcia to Open AG Kitchen in Silver Spring

Celebrity chef and former Food Network star Alex Garcia has chosen downtown Silver Spring as the location for his first AG Kitchen restaurant outside of New York City.

The restaurant will be similar to the AG Kitchen in New York City and serve American and Latin comfort dishes, including:

• Tableside Pineapple and Pomegranate Guacamole
• Garcia’s Seafood Paella
• Samba Roast Chicken
• Latin classics like NYC’s Best Cubano

The menu will also feature an extensive wine and cocktail selection. The new AG Kitchen will offer brunch, lunch and dinner.

The 7,700-square-feet restaurant will seat about 180 and feature an outdoor patio overlooking Silver Spring’s mosaic fountain.

The Silver Spring location of AG Kitchen is slated to open in the spring of 2015.
