Celebrity Sighting: 'The Rock' Visits Total Wine's HQ In Bethesda

BETHESDA, MD — It's not every day you see an A-list celebrity talk business in your neighborhood. But that's exactly what happened in Bethesda last week.

On Friday, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson made a surprise appearance at Total Wine & More's headquarters to talk with spirit buyers about the upcoming launch of his tequila line.

Teremana Tequila is described as a small batch, hand-crafted tequila from the Teremana blue agave in Jalisco, Mexico. This product, according to Johnson, has been years in the making, but the name was only revealed late last year.

"Ladies and gents, I proudly bring you, TEREMANA TEQUILA," the actor and former professional wrestler posted on Instagram. "TERA is meant to represent 'Terre' which means of the earth and MANA is our powerful Polynesian spirit that guides us. Spirit of the earth."
