Chevy Chase Throws Fourth of July Bash
Residents will be treated to a catered picnic and parade on Independence Day.

The Town of Chevy Chase will host an Independence Day picnic and parade on July 4, from noon to 2 p.m. on the Lawton Center Grounds.
American flags will be available in the Town Office beginning June 15 for residents to pick up and display in their yards in preparation for the holiday. If it’s difficult for you to stop by the office during office hours email townoffice@townofchevychase.org or call at 301-654-7144 and a flag will be delivered to you.
On July 4, the parade will begin at noon at the Lawton Center with bike, scooter, wagon and baby carriage decorating starting at 11:30 a.m. The town will provide decorating supplies.
