CINDERELLA in Kensington

Fun in Kensington. Kick off the holidays with a great laugh filled family fun show.

Last night I went to see Cinderella, presented by the British Players at the Kensington Town Hall. It was a FUN - lots of laughs and I left feeling good.
So passing the word along that the show runs until December 22. This is a great show to see with your kids.

The info on this show calls it a traditional British Pantomine. I expected quiet "mimes". This has nothing to do with "mimes"  Its a familiar fairy tale spiced with British broad humor and comedy. You could call it a "romp". All the humor is doubly funny to the adults and the adult humor is tastefully above the heads of the kids.

Have to tell you, as a storyteller, I loved the way they toyed with the sacred fairytale.

And the best music was the sound of the children and all laughing. At one point I was shaking with laughter - and I felt better for it.
