This resolution is enacted to enable distribution of ballots by mail, and voting in person, by deposit to a designated drop box, or in person on the day of the election, and includes amendments to change the date on which elections are held, change the date by which a petition for candidacy must be filed and the extension date for filing, authorize an election ballot to be mailed to all registered voters in the Village, allow the ballots to be voted through the mail, deposited in a drop box, or submitted in person on the day of the election, set the date by which a ballot must be received, and to make conforming changes.

Copies of the draft Resolution may be obtained at the Chevy Chase Village Office between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, you may download a copy at www.chevychasevillagemd.gov or you may submit a request to the Village office for the draft Resolution to be mailed to you.
The regular meeting of the Village’s Board of Managers will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, December 13, 2021, and will be held virtually with members of the Board and public attending via phone and video conference.
