Cleanup of Truck Crash to Close Lanes of I-495
A truck overturned on I-495 at River Road; cleanup will start after rush hour and drivers should avoid the area, police say.

BETHESDA, MD — Cleanup of an overturned tractor-trailer on Interstate 495 at River Road will begin once Wednesday morning's rush hour is over, say authorities, who warn drivers to avoid the area.
Maryland State Police say the truck's driver may have swerved to avoid striking another vehicle and lost control, causing the truck and trailer to overturn on the right shoulder of the inner loop. The driver, Eddiberto Lopez, from Cumberland County, PA, was not injured.
Maryland State Highway Administration are on scene providing traffic control.
