Cloned Credit Card Used at Bethesda Safeway

Montgomery County Police say a woman's credit card was copied even while she kept possession of it.

Montgomery County Police hope you can help capture a man who cloned a credit card and used it a Safeway store in Bethesda.

On Feb. 12, the victim was notified of fraudulent activity on her credit card. The victim was still in possession of the card and was uncertain how the card number was being used to make purchases.

Police determined the credit card had been cloned and used at a Safeway in Bethesda.

Detectives this week released a photo of the suspect who used the cloned card.
