County Offers Free Bus Rides To Furloughed Feds During Shutdown
All federal government workers can take Montgomery County's Ride On for free during the government shutdown.

BETHESDA, MD — As the partial government shutdown drags into its fifth week, Montgomery County is offering free bus rides to furloughed federal employees. Friday's announcement comes the same day some 800,000 federal workers missed their second paycheck.
Ride On did not immediately say when the offer will expire. To take advantage of free rides, make sure you present a valid government ID to Ride On drivers.
Effective immediately, ALL Federal Government Workers will be allowed to ride Ride On free of charge with a valid federal government employee ID until further notice.
