District Falafel is planning to open a bricks-and-mortar restaurant in Bethesda in September, according to reports.
BETHESDA, MD — District Falafel is planning to open a bricks-and-mortar restaurant in Bethesda in September, according to reports.
District Falafel started in 2015 as a food truck serving the D.C. area. The new location in Bethesda will be at the Westlake Crossing shopping center at 10315 Westlake Drive, next to Westfield Montgomery Mall, Robert Dyer @ Bethesda Row reported Friday.
Known for its falafel, hummus and gyros, District Falafel will be located in the space formerly home to The Wok Chinese Kitchen.

"We believe falafel should contain fresh ingredients and bold flavor worth celebrating," District Falafel says on its website.
The restaurant hopes to open by the end of September, according to The MoCo Show.
