DogFish Head Alehouse Hosting Gemmell Family Fundraiser Monday
Montgomery County residents can drop by the restaurant on Monday, Dec. 22, to help the family affected by an earlier plane crash.

A Gaithersburg restaurant has scheduled a fundraiser for Monday, Dec. 22, to benefit the Gemmell family after Marie Gemmell and her two young sons died when a plane crashed into their home earlier this month.
Dogfish Head Alehouse at 800 West Diamond Avenue is donating 20 percent of the day’s profits, as well as money from a silent auction and raffle, to Marie’s husband, Ken Gemmell, and his daughter, Arabelle.

The Gemmell family regularly stopped by the restaurant where Jenifer Miller works. She launched a gofundme account that has raise more than $480,00 for the family.
The fundraiser starts at 11:30 a.m. Monday, according to the restaurant website.
