Elderly Woman Dies from Bethesda Crash Injuries: Police
An elderly Bethesda woman lost control of her car and slammed into a tree on her block Dec. 5; she died from her injuries on Friday.

BETHESDA, MD — An elderly Bethesda woman who crashed into a tree on her block and rolled her car Dec. 5 has died from her injures, according to Montgomery County Police.
The now-fatal accident happened just after 9 a.m. Dec. in the 8000 block of Whittier Boulevard. Investigators say a 2003 Buick Century driven by Audrey Sloope Bell, 93, was turning left from eastbound Whittier Court onto northbound Whittier Boulevard. Investigators say the Buick left the road and struck a tree in front of 8015 Whittier Boulevard, then the car rolled onto the driver’s side.
Bell was the sole occupant of the Buick. Police said she died from her injuries Friday morning.
