The Art Instinct Exhibition of Four Glen Echo Printmakers

June 30 – July 1, 2012  Noon to 5:00 p.m.

Opening Reception: June 30, Saturday, 5:30-7:30 PM

The Yellow Barn Studio & Gallery, in cooperation with The National Park Service, invites you to attend THE ART INSTINCT: Recent Print Art Works by the Four Glen Echo Printmakers, on view from June 30 through July 1. The artists - Patricia, Susan, Alice and Maya - discovered monotype print making technique and found it very gratifying: there is an exciting element of surprise and mystery when you see your new art work coming from the press. Energy, improvisation, gesture, impulse and chance are all characteristics of this printing process. Patricia, Susan, Alice and Maya always strive to share their excitement and passion for art with others. We hope you can see it for yourselves.
