Fillmore Patron Threatens to Kill Bystander: Police
Prince George's County man was charged with having stolen handgun after a reported threat to shoot someone at the Silver Spring venue.

A Prince George’s County man kicked out of The Fillmore Silver Spring Sunday night was arrested with a gun after he reportedly threatened to shoot someone at the venue, police sai.
Montgomery County Police arrested Dominique Bernard Saunders, 23, of the 5500 block of Karen Elaine Drive in New Carrollton, for possession of a stolen handgun.
About 10:30 p.m. Sunday, an off-duty Montgomery County Police officer was working with security personnel at The Fillmore, 8656 Colesville Road, when an employee said he overheard a man planning to shoot someone.

The off-duty officer was told that the suspect -- later identified as Saunders -- had been asked to leave the venue earlier that night. An employee reportedly watched Saunders retrieve a handgun from a vehicle that had stopped outside the building.
Police found Saunders walking in an alley behind the Fillmore. When they ordered him to stop he refused and allegedly tossed a gun into a Dumpster, then stopped.

Officers found a loaded handgun inside the container that was reported stolen from Suffolk, VA. Saunders is prohibited from possessing a firearm because of a previous felony conviction.
Saunders was charged with handgun offenses and theft: less than $1,000. He is being held on a $15,000 bond.
