Fire Department Bingo with the Glen Echo Fire Department
The fire department's annual bingo party held at old Glen Echo Park. A family tradition for over 20 years.
The Glen Echo Fire Department will be having their annual family-friendly fundraising Bingo and Silent Auction on Friday, Sept 11, starting at 7 pm at the Glen Echo Park Spanish Ballroom at 7300 MacArthur Boulevard, Glen Echo, MD. All ages are welcome, and there will be prizes appropriate for all age groups, including certificates for local restaurants and stores, toys, and games. Free parking, no admission charge, but there is a suggested donation of $5 for bingo cards, and additional contributions are welcomed. There will be lots of prizes, some great silent auction items, a 50:50 raffle, and snacks available. The money raised will be for uniforms, equipment, supplies, and training materials for the Glen Echo Fire Department volunteer EMT’s and firefighters so that they can better serve the community. Funds will also help fund Glen Echo’s ALS (advanced life support) equipment and supplies and the BERT (bicycle emergency response team).
