Free Pancakes at IHOP for National Pancake Day 2016

Find out how to score your own stack at 40 Maryland locations, including Silver Spring and others in Montgomery County.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Are free pancakes just what you need to make the workweek bearable?

Then head to the nearest IHOP, which will celebrate its 11th annual National Pancake Day on Tuesday, March 8.

From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m, IHOP customers will be able to chow down on a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes.

There are at least six IHOP locations in Montgomery County, including Silver Spring, Rockville, Gaithersburg, Takoma Park, Germantown and Wheaton.

In return for the free pancakes, guests will be asked to consider leaving a donation for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals or other designated local charities.

Since beginning its National Pancake Day celebration in 2006, IHOP restaurants have raised nearly $20 million to support charities in the communities in which they operate.
