Freeze Watch Begins Late Sunday Night

A Freeze Watch will go into effect from midnight Monday until 9 a.m. Monday morning.

Temperatures will be around 30 degrees in parts of the region, according to the National Weather Service.

These conditions could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation if left unprotected, according to the weather service.

But warm temps are expected to return next week, with highs in the 70s by Thursday.
