BETHESDA, MD — Rita's and Dairy Queen are both offering free treats to celebrate the start of spring. It's expected to be sunny with temperatures in the mid-50s, so you may be able to enjoy dessert outside (finally).
Rita's will give away a free small Italian ice to all customers who stop by on Wednesday, March 20.
Around Bethesda, there are several Rita's locations, open from noon to 9 p.m.

In honor of the first day of spring, Dairy Queen will also be handing out free small vanilla cones, all day long, at participating stores on Wednesday, March 20. The free cone deal will be offered at all non-mall locations, according to DQ.
