Harris Teeter, Safeway, Giant: Christmas 2018 Hours In Bethesda

BETHESDA, MD — Remembering to stock every ingredient for your Christmas dinner isn't easy. Whether it's brown sugar to glaze the ham, or wine to toast the holiday, there's always something that doesn't make it into the shopping cart. Hey, it happens to the best of us.

Should you need to make a last-minute grocery run, don't panic. Several grocery stores in Bethesda-Chevy Chase will be open — at least for a little while — on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Operating hours may vary by location, so it's best to double check with your local grocery store. Here's a list of stores that will be open and closed on Monday, Dec. 24 and Tuesday, Dec. 25.

What's Open On Dec. 24 and/or 25

• Harris Teeter:
  • The store located at 11845 Old Georgetown Rd is normally open 24 hours a day
    • On Christmas Eve, this location will close at 7 p.m.
  • The store located at 4805 Battery Ln will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve
• Whole Foods:
  • On Christmas Eve, stores will be open at 7 a.m. and closed at 7 p.m.
• Giant Food:
  • On Christmas Eve, the store located at 7142 Arlington Rd will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • On Christmas Day, the same store will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • The store located at 5463 Wisconsin Ave will only be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve
  • On Christmas Eve, the store located at 5400 Westbard Ave will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • On Christmas Day, the same store will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Target:
  • On Christmas Eve, the store will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• Safeway:
  • The store located at 4701 Sangamore Rd will be open from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve
  • On Christmas Day, the same store will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • The store located at 5000 Bradley Blvd will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve
  • On Christmas Day, the same store will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Trader Joe's:
  • On Christmas Eve, the store will open at 8 a.m. and close at 6 p.m.
• Balducci's:
  • On Christmas Eve, stores will be open at 7:30 a.m. and closed at 6 p.m.
